Neuman TLM 103:
~The Neumann TLM 103 large-diaphragm condenser has the depth and sparkle to turn your
acoustic recordings downright three-dimensional.
~Neumann TLM 103: huge dynamic range with low noise and coloration.
~The K103 large-diaphragm capsule is based on the K87, well known from the U67 and U87
microphones. The capsule has a flat frequency response up to about 5kHz, and above that, a
wide flat 4dB presence boost. The TLM 103's large wire mesh grille protects the capsule from
plosive sounds and effectively prevents pop noises. These characteristics are achieved without resorting to corrective resonance effects. Therefore, the TLM 103 maintains an excellent impulse response and reproduces the details of music and speech without coloration. With the TLM 103's incredibly low self-noise, even the smallest signals are reproduced basically noise-free. As it is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 138dB without distortion, the TLM 103 provides a dynamic range of 131dB (A-weighted).

AKG 2000 C:
~Cardioid pattern with precision-built capsule.
~The C 2000 B transducer capsule has been acoustically designed with a cardioid polar
pattern to make the microphone suitable for use both in the recording studio and on stage.
~The diaphragm is made of a plastic foil that is gold-sputtered on one side to prevent local
shorts to the back electrode even at extremely high sound pressure levels.
~Switchable pad for added SPL capacity.
~A switchable preattenuation pad allows you to increase the maximum SPL capability of your C 2000 B by 10 dB for distortion-free close-in recordings. ~Many mixing console input stages use small transformers that are susceptible to overload, particularly at low frequencies. The C 2000 B's pad prevents such overload.
